Linda Lee Swinehart, 61, of Idaho Falls, died April 11, 2011, at the Life Care Center of Idaho Falls. She was born April 11, 1950, in Lakeland, Florida to Ervin Lee Craft and Martha LaTrell Sadler Craft. At the age of 13, her family moved to California. She attended Steven M. White and Carson High School in Carson, California. She met Clarence Earl Swinehart Sr. while attending high school and they were married June 10, 1967, in Tijuana, Mexico. They made their home in Michigan and raised four lovely daughters. Linda enjoyed swimming, crocheting, reading, animals and was a devoted Girl Scout Mother. She loved spending time with her grandbabies, gardening and was a legendary cook and baker. She was an extremely hard worker; her daughters admired her and considered her their hero. Linda loved her family unconditionally; she lived and breathed for them. She touched many lives and will be truly missed by all; the best always are. The family expresses their appreciation to Life Care Center of Idaho Falls for their kind and loving care of Linda. She is survived by her daughters, April (Scott) Murphy, Mary L (Larry) Neice, both of Pearisburg, Virgina, Laura (Harvey) Melander, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Felicia (Cameron) Larsen, of Rigby, Idaho, stepson, Clarence “Butchy” Swinehart Jr., of Michigan, stepfather, Nyman Johnson, of Rigby, sisters, Debra Steel, of Rigby, Verna (Warren) Coderre, of Saugus, California, Mary (John) Hansen, of Idaho Falls, brother, David (Lanette Hess) Johnson, of Rigby, 12 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Earl Swinehart Sr., Mother Martha Johnson, and Father Ervin Lee Craft, and her grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2011, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery, under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
