Logan Alvin Pintar, 60, of Menan, Idaho passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025, in Menan, Idaho.
Logan was born on a cold November day in Idaho Falls, Idaho with a positive and optimistic attitude toward life. He was adventurous from the time he could walk and talk. At two years of age the family ran a fishing lodge in Palisades, Idaho. This is where Logan fell in love with the South fork of the Snake River. He lived to fish and was either really good at it or really lucky. In addition to being a great fisherman he was an avid hunter also.
Logan attended schools in Rigby and went to Rigby High School. He always felt he received his education on the Snake River. Along with loving the water, he really knew how to test the waters with his parents causing more than one sleepless night. The movie, “A River Runs Through it,” perfectly portrayed Logan’s life.
Logan was a very compassionate person. He never spoke ill of anyone. His three stepdaughters worshipped him and learned how to respect others as Logan respected them.
Logan is survived by his father, Lyle Pintar and mother, Myra Tice. His siblings, Kelly Statham, Penny (Darin) Caputo, and Sloan Pintar. His stepdaughters, Amber Etheridge, Rachelle Pederson and Danielle Godhardt.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery (3800 East Menan-Lorenzo Hwy).
