Lois Marie Andrew

Lois Marie Andrew, 89, of Rigby, Idaho passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in Idaho Falls, Idaho at the Lily and Syringa Assisted Living.

Lois was born in Taylorsville, Idaho, the daughter of Harold B Arave and Vivian Walker Arave Sievers. She attended schools in Ucon, Idaho where she grew up. She married Lynn Merrill Andrew in Dillon, Montana on October 19, 1949.

Lois was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had opportunity to serve as Youth Activities Director and was a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce. She served with the Boy Scouts of America, as a 4H Director and as Recreation Director of the City of Rigby. She really enjoyed working with youth, making crafts, quilting, sports and travelling. She was a strong supporter of her children in their sports and activities.

Lois is survived by two daughters; Debra Lynn Young of Idaho Falls and Susan Marie Short of Ogden, Utah. Two sons; Ronald D (Michele) Andrew of Boise, Idaho and Michael Ray Andrew of Idaho Falls, Idaho. She also has 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren as well as many unofficial adopted children.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lynn, a son, Brent Andrew, and two brothers, David Sievers and Marc Sievers and one sister, Barbara Mattos.

Services for Lois will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Eckersell Funeral Home (101 West Main Street, Rigby, ID  83442) The family will meet with friends Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, and prior to services on Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 AM.  Interment will be held at a later date in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
