Lois Dee Swager, 91 of Rigby, died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at her home. She was born September 21, 1923 in Rigby, Idaho to Alan Ithamer Harmon and Ada Vashti Baxter Harmon. She was raised and attended schools in Rigby, graduating from Rigby High School. She continued her education at the University of Utah and earned her degree as a Registered Nurse. She married Robert Altizer, he preceded her in death. On February 28, 1952, she married Thomas Theodore Swager in Idaho Falls. They were blessed with one son. Lois was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. She worked as a Registered Nurse and was volunteered as a Pink Lady in hospitals in Idaho Falls for 37 years. She is survived by her son, Shon Swager, of Rigby, sister, Maxine Wright of Ames, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and a brother, Phil Harmon. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery Monday, May 11, 2015. Condolences may be sent the family online at www.eckersellfunerahome.com
