Lola Mae Larsen, age 62, died at her home in Rigby Saturday December 10, 2005.
Lola was born August 8, 1943 at Idaho Falls, Idaho a daughter of Orin Blackburn Jeppson and Mary Adaline Belnap Jeppson. She attended schools in Rigby graduating from Rigby High School. Following graduation she attended Ricks College and got a degree in Bookkeeping/Accounting. She married Richard Leland Larsen August 30, 1962 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. During her life she continued her education by attending classes at Eastern Idaho Technical College in Photography. She also attended realtor classes receiving her Realtors License. She worked at Heise Hot Springs, as a bookkeeper for Precision Boats, Larsen Manufacturing and Heirloom Reflections LLC. At Century 21, Caldwell Bankers and Help U Sell in Realty. She was a photographer at Sears Photography and L&L Photo and Arts. She also worked at Idaho Fresh Pak, Ucon Produce and as a clerk at Stinker Station. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Primary and Sunday School Chorister, Ward Bulletin Coordinator, Visiting Teacher and Scout Leader. She loved her family, going camping, attending the balloon races, traveling and being an artist.
She is survived by her husband Richard Larsen of Rigby, 1 daughter Brenda (Ronald) Brewer of Rigby, 4 sons Brent J Larsen of Rigby, Lance Corporal Brendan J (Tanisha) Larsen of 29 Palms, California, Brett J (Kelli) Larsen of Rigby, Brendell J (Tiffany) Larsen of Rigby, a sister Mary Lou (James DeLar) Lords of Idaho Falls, 2 brothers Charles B (Patricia) Jeppson of Salt Lake City, Utah and Orvid (Bettie) Jeppson of Tucson, Arizona, 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers Thomas and Gilbert Jeppson.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 16, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the Clark Ward LDS Chapel 198 North 4300 East Rigby, with Bishop John Roberts officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday December 15, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby and on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Church. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery, Archer, Idaho.
