Lola Z. Young

Lola Z. Young age 79, of Rigby, died Monday, January 15, 2007, at the Eastern Idaho Reginal Medical Center. Lola was born March 15, 1927 in Shelley, Idaho a daughter of Ralph Zufelt and Henrietta Walker Zufelt. She was raised and attended schools in the Shelley area. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married Lloyd L. Young on April 22, 1946 in Dillon, Montana. They later solemnized their marriage in the Manti L.D.S. Temple on May 21, 1956. She worked for 15 years for Idaho Fresh Pak retiring in 1983. Lola enjoyed crossword puzzles, attending the temple, family reunions, her grandchildren and showing off their pictures. She is survived by her three daughters Joyce (Martin) Lathe of Idaho Falls, Kay Beth (Stanton) Brighton of Coltman, Janet Nancy(John “Nick”) of Rigby, two sons Jerry Lloyd Young of Idaho Falls, and Kirk L. (Julia) Young of Annis, five sisters Rhonda (Jack) Port of Pocatello, Ruth (Art) Roundy of Ogden, Ruby (Jack) Hansen of Pocatello, June Jackman of Colorado, Rose (Jerry) Cleverly of Idaho Falls, four brothers, Sonny (Marge) Farnworth of Mt.Home, Gail Farnworth of Coeur D Alene, Carl (Kay) Farnworth and Bob (Betty) Farnworth both of S.L.C., Utah, 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Lola was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1 great grandson Drake Marcel Rigoulot. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m at the Menan L.D.S Stake Center with Bishop Kevin Searle officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday evening from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel and prior to the services from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. at the Stake Center. Interment will be at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
