Lorraine Jacobs

Lorraine Jacobs, 63, of Menan, died Friday, March 04, 2005, at her home in Menan, Idaho. She was born April 24, 1941, in Stockton, Alabama. She moved to Utah at an early age with the family. She was raised and schooled in Orem, Utah. She married Lynn Jacobs. They have lived most of their married life in Menan, Idaho. She enjoyed reading, her family, Idaho Summers, short trips, family get togethers, the outdoors and quiet days. She worked at the Menan-Annis Public Library and Midway Elementary School for 23 years before retiring. She is survived by her husband Lynn Jacobs of Menan; 4 children: Jeanie (Kay) Hunting of Menan; Kevin (Lola) Jacobs of Lewisville; Laurie (Bart) Willmore of Rigby; Connie (Darren) Hodges of Menan; 6 Grandchildren: Jeremy (Jessie) Hunting; Heather Hunting; Janae (Mike) Dye; Lacie Willmore; Joshua Jacobs; Kira Jacobs; Her step father; 8 brothers and 3 sisters. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery with Bishop Eric Beck officiating. Interment will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. In lieu of flowers Lorraine requested donations be made to the Menan-Annis Library or your favorite charity in her name.
