LouAnne Grover, 72 of Rigby passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Idaho Falls.
LouAnne was born September 27, 1942 in Denver, Colorado to Darsel Merle Morgan and Virginia Call Morgan. She was raised in Idaho Falls and attended schools at O.E Bell and Idaho Falls High School. She worked at various locations throughout her life including as a waitress at the Westbank and Tom’s Landing located in Idaho Falls as well as worked as a retail sales clerk at the Maverick, Val’s Modern Day, and Sunrise Apparel. In March of 1985, she opened her own business, The Shoe Box Tack and Accessories, which became her lifelong love and passion as well as one of her biggest accomplishments. She was in business for 29 years before closing the doors for the final time in 2013.
In LouAnne’s eyes her family was her ultimate accomplishment and source of her joy. She loved more than anything to spend time her family and those that she held close to her heart. She loved attending all activities her children and grandchildren participated in.
On May 7, 1978, she married Monte Lee Grover; their marriage was solemnized in the Rexburg LDS Temple in April of 2015.
She is survived by her children Randall Coy Wadsworth, Wendy Lee (Kirk) Hansen ,Russell dean Wadsworth, Trisa Lynn (Kirt) Baron, Lorri Kaylee (Mark) Dixon, Gregory Lee (Melissa) Grover, and Justin R. Grover; brothers, Merle Dean Morgan, Ronald Call Morgan, Robert Vern Morgan; 27 grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Monte Lee Grover; daughter, Barbara Ann Radford-Reynolds; sons, Darren Mark Grover and Troy K. Radford and a grandson, Dustin Koy Wadsworth.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2014 at the Rigby 12 Ward LDS Chapel, 602 Sundance, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday evening at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby, and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.eckersellfuneralhome.com
