Lowell B Young

Lowell B. Young passed away on February 21, 2024. He was born April 4, 1931 to James Cyrus “Cy” and Vera Broadbent Young in Twin Grove, Idaho. He married Wanola P. Haws on October 2, 1950. They have four children: Jayann, Wendy “Dusty,” Brian, and Tori. They were later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple.

Lowell loved the outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt, camp, and picnic with family and friends. Wanola passed away in 2011. He later reconnected with Lorena Palmer and they were married on November 24, 2013.

Lowell was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanola, his parents Cy and Vera Young, daughter Tori C. Young, younger brother Dee Young, and son-in-law Bob Otto. He is survived by his three children: Jayann (Dean) Moon, Wendy “Dusty” Otto, and Brian (Angie) Young.

A viewing will be held Monday, February 26, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, with a graveside service at the Wilford Cemetery beginning at 1:00 p.m.
