Lucille Chapple Ker, age 80, of Ririe, died Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Life Care Center in Idaho Falls. Lucille was born July 6, 1926 at Milo, Idaho a daughter to Walter Chapple and Mable Jane Bates Chapple. She graduated from Rigby High School. She married Robert Norton Ker, March 24, 1946 at Rigby. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple March 15, 1984. She worked along side of her husband on the farm near Ririe. She was a volunteer for the 4H raising animals. She was a great cook, enjoyed sewing, home making, quilting, canning, gardening, singing.
Survivors include: 7 sons, Steve (Jean) Ker of Shelley, Dennis (Shirley) Ker of Riverton, Utah, Jim (Gaylene) Ker of Ucon, Walt (Karen) Ker of Iona, Darrel (Gina) Ker of Milo, Blaine (Janie) Ker of Ririe, David Ker of Idaho Falls, daughter-in-law Junia Ker of Denver, Colorado, 30 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 sister Margaret Mason, 2 brothers Earl Chapple and Russell Chapple and a granddaughter Myrtle Mae Ker.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 7, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Perry Ward LDS Chapel 285 2nd West, Ririe. The family will visit with friends on Sunday, August 6, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby and on Monday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
