Lyle Mikesell Reneau

March 21, 1930 — September 11, 2004

Lyle Mikesell Reneau, age 74, of Rigby, died at home Saturday, September 11, 2004 under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho. Lyle was born March 21, 1930 at Ashton, Idaho a daughter of Charles A. Mikesell and Minnie Porter Mikesell. She attended schools in St. Anthony and was a cheerleader for South Fremont High School. She married Donald Wayne Reneau, November 2, 1948 in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Young Women’s presidency, Primary presidency and was Relief Society President. She enjoyed quilting, needlework and her family. She is survived by her husband Donald Wayne Reneau of Rigby, 3 daughters: LuAnne Simmons of Ammon, Linda (Clint) Tinker of Lewisville, and Yalon (Mark) Yandle of Pocatello; 3 sons: Blake (Jolene) Reneau of Ogden, Utah, Don (Debbie) Reneau of Roseburg, Oregon and David (Valerie) Reneau of Myrtle Creek, Oregon; a sister Marie Johnson of Sandy, Utah, 43 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Lyle was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters Grace Browning and Alice Storms, 5 brothers Earl, Roy, Frank, Ted and Blaine Mikesell and a granddaughter Gayle Debbie Reneau. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 16, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rigby 4th ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Rex Miller officiating. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel and on Thursday from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Ashton Cemetery
