Lynette Wilson age 57, passed away peacefully October 2, 2024 at The Wildflower.
Lynette was born September 23, 1967 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, a daughter to Max L. and Joyce Cook Wilson. She attended Joshua Smith Foundation in Idaho Falls and Blackfoot. Later graduating from Rigby High School and Rigby Special Education Seminary.
Lynette lived during her life in Ucon, Garfield, Rigby, Blackfoot, then back to Rigby.
Lynette was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints; she was also a member of Journey’s. She loved signing primary songs, “I am a Child of God”, and “I’m So Glad When Daddy Comes Home”. When her dad would come home from work, she would meet him at the door and they would dance around singing that song, then she would sit on his lap, pat his checks, and give him a great big kiss. Her hobbies were collecting baby dolls and scarfs, she was a part of the Special Olympics, and performed in running, balance beam, and floor exercise which she has gold medaled in.
Lynette is survived by her mom Joyce Cook Wilson, of Rigby, Idaho, and her brothers Ryan Max (Nicole) Wilson of Pingree, Idaho, Greg L. (Andrea) Wilson of Lehi, Utah, Michael Brent (Autumn) Wilson of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and David Joshua (Maureen) Wilson of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Lynette is preceded by her father Max L. Wilson, and her uncle Quenton R. Wilson.
Services will be held Monday October 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Rigby 4th Ward Building. Viewing will be prior to the service from 9:30-10:45 AM at the Rigby 4th Ward Building (401 West 1st S, Rigby, Idaho 83442), Interment will follow at Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
