Lynn Fred Browning, 78, of Lake Placid, Florida died Saturday, February 17, 2007, at his home. He was born in Rigby, Idaho to parents Chester and Lovera Kinghorn Browning on October 7, 1928. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the Sebring Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He moved to Lake Placid from San Clara, California in 1998 after retiring as a production manager in the defense industry. Lynn is survived by his wife of 33 years Verna of Lake Placid, Florida, daughters Cecelia Rupp of Pocatello, Idaho, Debra Holler of Antioch, California, Diane Hinds of San Leandro, California, sons David and Douglas Browning both of Belmont, California, sisters, Joyce Duncan of Fresno, California, Zelda Gordon of Shasta Lake, California and Elaine Jackson of West Jordan, Utah, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Lynn was preceded in death by both parents. Funeral services will be at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2007. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
