Lynn Patricia Tracy, 72, of Rexburg, passed away July 4, 2021 surrounded by her family at home.
Lynn was born February 2, 1949, in St. Boniface, Manitoba, Canada - daughter of James Earnest Forsyth and Hazel Irene Whitney. She was raised in East Kildonan and attended school there. Lynn married Keith Evan Tracy on June 2, 1971 in the Idaho Falls Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She has lived in Steinbach, East Kildonan, Portage La Prairie (all in Manitoba, Canada), Ucon and Rexburg, Idaho.
Lynn taught at elementary schools in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and for the Madison School District in the Special Education Department in Rexburg. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities such as: Relief Society President, Primary President and various positions within Primary. Lynn enjoyed singing, camping, swimming, fishing, boating and riding horses. She was particularly involved with animal rescue, was an animal advocate and volunteered for various animal rescue organizations in southeastern Idaho.
Lynn is survived by her husband Keith of Rexburg; her children: Helen (Lee) Pompana of Sioux Valley, Craig Tracy of Portage la Prairie, Noah Moose of Winnipeg, Kenneth J Tracy of Boise, Jenna-Leigh S. Tracy of Rexburg, Matthew K. Tracy (Rachel) of Boise, Lisa Manywounds of Calgary, Tera-Dawn Tracy of Pocatello, Ashli-Anne Cook of Idaho Falls, Bethany S. Tracy of Rexburg, Bonni-Jean W. Tracy of Rexburg, Emily L. (Ammon) Chase of Rexburg, Merica-Kate D. Tracy of Rexburg, Jeremiah D. Tracy of Boise, Benjamin K. Tracy of Rexburg, and brother: James (Elsie) Forsyth of Winnipeg; her grandchildren: AJ, Keith, Tyler, Rebecca, Roxanne, Nicholas, Jared, Dante, Dustin, Rowan, Shania, Morgana, Sabrina, Avery Jayne, Walter West Chase and Alice Roselynn Tracy; and two great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents: James and Hazel; and daughter: Krista-Lyn K. Tracy.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the Lyman 2nd Ward Chapel (1952 W. 6000 S. Rexburg) at 11:00 a.m. The family will meet with friends prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Ucon Cemetery.
