Marcellene Ethel Wheeler

Marcellene Ethel Wheeler, age 103, of Ririe, died Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at her home in Ririe. She was born on November 17, 1904 to Nels Jenson and Margaret Ann Finn Jenson. She grew up in Shelton and attended Buck Grade School. She married Albert A. Wheeler June 20, 1923 in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in the Relief Society, the Idaho Falls Temple, and in the Primary for over 30 years. Marcellene enjoyed quilting, attending the Idaho Falls Temple, gardening and flowers. She is survived by 3 daughters Margaret Treasure of Rigby, Shirley Roberts of Idaho Falls, Vicki Ann McKinney of Idaho Falls, 2 sons; Dick (LaRae)Wheeler and Randy (Judy) Wheeler of Rigby Idaho, a sister; Ivy (Byron) Farnsworth, of Idaho Falls, 25 grandchildren, 100 great grandchildren and 53 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, 4 brothers, and 2 sons. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday February 11, 2008 at the Ririe Stake Center, with Bishop Dan Skene, officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Monday, both at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
