Marcheta Casper Hodges Marcheta Pearl Hodges, 87, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 23, 2013, in Moscow, Idaho. She was born June 7, 1926, in Rigby, Idaho to Grant and Pearl (Andrus) Casper, the oldest of 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She was raised in Grant and attended school in Coltman. On October 8, 1940, she married Loren Hunsaker and had 3 children before he passed away. On September 16, 1954 she married Hal Hodges in Bozeman, Montana and made their final home in the Pullman, Washington Area. They had 4 children. She worked many jobs including Safeway in Idaho Falls, the Albion, Washington School District and the Pullman Washington hospital. She was a wonderful mother and devoted to her family.She loved gardening, quilting, traveling the Oregon coast and antique collecting including an impressive doll collection with over 400 dolls. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her 7 children, DeEsta Hodges of Grovetown, Georgia, Wayne (Megan) Hunsaker, of Selah, Washington, Randy (Peggy) Hunsaker, of Idaho Falls, Cal (Roxanne) Hodges of Moscow, Idaho, Kelley (Tim) Regan of Moscow, Idaho, Tonah Hartig of Fraser, Michigan, Ryan (Susie) Hodges of Medical Lake, Washington, 2 brothers, Zane Casper, Bill Casper, 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands 3 sisters, 1 brother and a grandson. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 1 pm at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ucon Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
