Marcia Jane Hardin, age 65, of Arco, died Sunday, August 6, 2006 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Jane was born July 26, 1941 at Anaconda, Montana a daughter of Silas Charles Stoddard and Alverta Inez Parks Stoddard. She attended schools in Idaho Falls, graduating from Holy Names High School in Spokane, Washington. She married Donald Andrew Arremony in February of 1965. They later divorced. She married Michael G. Hardin and they later divorced. Jane was so proud of her children and what they had made of their lives and most proud to be a grandmother. She and JoAnn enjoyed saying they were not the ordinary type of grannys. She loved her life and every life she touched was brighter because of her. She loved her garden and flowers and
her beloved little dogs. Family was always so important to her, and she just loved the little get togethers along with her special gifts that she so loved to receive. Jane was special not only to family but also to all of
her friends, of which she had many. Jane will be greatly missed!
She was a member of the Catholic Church and the Idaho Falls Eagles Lodge. She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant for several years and at Joshua Smith development Center in Arco. She enjoyed cooking, family get togethers', and collecting costumes.
Survivors include: two daughters, Donna (Milton) Bridges of Rigby, Susan (Jerry) McGinnis of Centerville, Virginia, one son Anthony (Jackie) Hardin of Idaho Falls, two sisters, JoAnn (John) Renard of Woodland, Washington, Mary Lou (Dale) Wilson of Port Orchard, Washington, two brothers, Franklin (Sue) Stoddard of Hereford, Arizona and John Stoddard of Arco, Idaho, and five grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday, August 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho with Bishop Todd Johnson officiating. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
