Margaret Viola Larsen

MARGARET Viola LARSEN, age 92, died in the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, Thursday, December 23, 2004. Margaret was born July 21, 1912, in Menan, Idaho, the daughter of Charles Stuart Martin and Clara Viola Eddy. Margaret grew up and attended elementary school in Menan, Idaho, and graduated form Midway High School near Menan. She married Orville J. Larsen, November 20, 1934 in the Logan L.D.S. Temple. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. She served in the Young Womens Mutual Improvement Association for several years, and had served as President. She had served in Ward and Stake Relief Society for many years. Margaret had worked for the J.L Hayes Red & White Store in Menan, in her younger years, as a cashier. She enjoyed her family, quilting, and being with Orville to whom she was married for Seventy years. She was an avid reader. She is survived by her husband Orville Larsen of Idaho Falls, one son John D. (Gwyn) of Modesto, California. Survived by 3 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one daughter Margaret, four brothers, and one sister. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at 12 noon in the Idaho Falls Third Ward L.D.S. Chapel, 2023 Jennie Lee Drive. The Family will receive friends Monday, December 27, 2004, 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby, and Tuesday for one hour prior to service at the church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery, under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
