Marie Christina Bramwell, age 91, of Lewisville, died Saturday August 31, 2013.
Marie was born September 16, 1921 in Roberts, Idaho a daughter to Thomas Elmer and Johanna Marie Larson Watts. She attended Roberts schools graduating from Roberts High School. She then attended Idaho State University in Pocatello.
She married Keith Brown Bramwell, June 18, 1948 in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple January 19, 1955.
Marie worked as a secretary for teachers during her high school and college years then at Roberts Drug Store, Dutson Grocery, and Milt’s Grocery she also worked as a bookkeeper for Jackson Auto, Krause Garage and Conoco Bulk Station and at Idaho Fresh Pac.
She is a member of the LDS Church and served in the Primary, Sunday School, Relief Society, MIA and in Genealogy Extraction.
She enjoys reading, music, oil painting, horseback trail riding, camping, photography, cattle drives, working on the farm, plowing and running the combine. She also enjoyed her family, daughter and 2 sets of twin boys.
Marie has been dealing with Cancer since 2001.
She is survived by her children, Lorraine (Delwin) Lehmberg of Lewisville, Kliff Adna (Beverly) Bramwell, Keith Alan (Cindy) Bramwell of Dubois, Dave Lyle Bramwell of Ammon, sisters Lila Elaine Kaddos of Redwood City, CA, Jeannine Gloria Furrows of Roberts, a daughter-in-law Linda Bramwell of Lewisville, 24 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Keith, two sisters Joan Watts and June Watts Duke, one son Donovan and a granddaughter Desiree’.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lewisville 1st ward LDS Chapel, 474 North 3450 East, Lewisville. The family will visit with friends Tuesday September 3, 2013 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.at Eckersell Memorial Chapel 101 West Main Street Rigby and on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Lewisville Church. Burial will be in the Lewisville Cemetery.
