Marilyn Ririe Tyler

Marilyn Ririe Tyler, age 75, of Ririe, died Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at her daughters home in Iona from natural causes. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice. Marilyn was born May 4, 1930 at Ririe, Idaho a daughter of Parley A. Ririe and Edna Jane Cook Ririe. She attended schools in Ririe graduating from Ririe High School in 1947. On October 14, 1947 she married Daniel Clements Tyler in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He preceded her in death in 1985. She lived in Idaho Falls, Shelley, Ucon and Ririe. In Ririe she was Library Aide at Ririe High School. She worked with her husband and family in a family owned business Tyler Excavating. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions. She served 2 missions for the church in Cody, Wyoming at the LDS Visitors Center. She enjoyed working in her yard, crocheting, cooking and helping anyone she could, having her family around and loving each one. She is survived by 3 daughters: Diana (Ron) Nelson of Iona, Mickie (Ben) Loosli of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Dana (Bret) Kirtley of Redmond, Oregon,; 3 sons: Micheal Jon (Donna) Tyler of Jacksonville, Florida, Monte Rex (Margie) Tyler of Jacksonville, Florida, Dell Roy (Kate) Tyler of Wilson, Wyoming; 2 sisters: LaWan Marler of Ririe, Delaina (Kenneth) Stromberg of Ririe, 2 brothers: Sylvan (Jo) Ririe of Firth, Warren (Sharolyn) Ririe of Meridian, Idaho, 33 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Daniel C. Tyler, 3 sons Daniel R Tyler, Maurice J Tyler and David K Tyler. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 3, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ririe Stake Center 14061 N. 130 E. Ririe, with Bishop Dan Skeen officiating. The family will visit with friends at the Ririe Stake Center Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Saturday for one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
