Marjorie "Margie" Louann Nelson

Marjorie “Margie” Louann Otto Nelson, 77, peacefully passed away at her home in Rigby on December 16, 2023.

She was born to Marshall Lee Otto and Clarice Mae England Otto in Austin, Texas. Margie later graduated from Deming High School in Deming, New Mexico.

Margie married Wilford A. Nelson in September of 1972 in Phoenix, Arizona. They later divorced.

During her life, Margie worked in the lunchroom for West Jefferson, at Northwest Cosmetics in Idaho Falls and at Walmart in Idaho Falls. She moved around the area from Terreton, Roberts, Idaho Falls, and finally Rigby.

Margie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a member of the Rigby 2nd Ward.

She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and sewing.

Margie is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Dorothy and a brother Bobby.

Margie is survived by her children Stefanie Nelson of Idaho Falls, Don Nelson of Rigby, Mark (Tiffany) Nelson of Salmon and Scott Nelson of Idaho Falls.
