She was involved in Student Council and was harvest ball queen. After Midway burned down, she attended Rigby High School, graduating in 1952. She belonged to the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, Jefferson County Cowbells, PTA, and was a 4-H leader of the Country Cousins with her husband Donald. She served on the Lewisville Centennial Committee in 1982. Marjorie belonged to the “Lewisville Club” with 11 other couples. She was an active partner with her husband in their diverse farming and ranching operation. She enjoyed baling hay, driving truck during potato harvest, and attending Hereford bull sales and events with Donald. She played an integral part in preparing meals for cattle branding, cattle drives and roundups at Island Park and Kilgore. Marjorie was very proud to be a farmer’s daughter and a farmer’s wife.
