Listen to Obituary

Mark Aaron Henry, 39, of Rigby, died April 2, 2026, following a traffic accident in Bonneville County.

Mark was born February 2, 1987, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Charles Howard Henry, Jr. and Judy Anne Robertson Henry. He was the youngest of eight children. He grew up and attended school in Rigby, graduating from Rigby High School in 2005. He became a Master Gardener in 2006. He also completed some classes through University of Idaho and BYU-Idaho Pathways.

Mark married Daisha Cordell on August 2, 2013, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They welcomed three children: Andrew Skyler, Hyrum Daniel and Samaria Hailey. They lived in Rigby and Rexburg before divorcing in 2019. Mark then moved back to Rigby.

Mark always had a love for machinery, tractors and farm equipment. He figured out how to start the family lawnmower at a very young age and would often be found mowing the lawn or watching the tractors and equipment in the field next to his house. He was employed as a forklift operator at Melaleuca at the time of his death.

Mark was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was active in scouting and obtained the rank of Eagle Scout as a teenager. He completed a church service mission from Feb. 2007 - Sept. 2008. He was able to serve at the BYU-Idaho Livestock Center, Idaho Falls Cannery and Deseret Industries. He also served in many callings including Sunday School and Young Men presidencies, and Primary teacher. He loved spending time with his children, other family members, and watching football – especially the Green Bay Packers.
