Mark C Taylor

June 3, 1951 — April 20, 2006

Mark C Taylor, age 54, died at his home in Rigby, Thursday, April 20, 2006. He was under the care of Hospice Alliance. Mark was born June 3, 1951, at Rigby a son of Grant Randall and Rella Cottle Taylor. He attended schools in Lewisville, Midway and Rigby graduating from Rigby High School. He married Cody Rae Taylor July 8, 1971 at Rigby. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He worked as a Potato Salesman for Idahoan Fresh retiring in December of 2005, and with his wife owned and operated the Video Shoppe in Rigby for 19 years. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving as a counselor in three bishoprics in Rigby and at Ricks College. He enjoyed skiing, golf, fishing, wake boarding, four wheeling and working in his yard. He is survived by his wife Cody of Rigby, one daughter Lacey (Romero) Pancheri of Howe, Idaho, three sons; Mitchell (Jill) Taylor, Randall (Annalee) Taylor and Richard (Nancy) Taylor all of Rigby, one sister Janet (Ron) Radford of Salmon, Idaho, three brothers: Monte (Carolyn) Taylor and Lynn (Rose) Taylor both of Menan and Jay (Deidre) Taylor of Idaho Falls and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Stephen. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 24, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. in the Rigby 4th Ward LDS Chapel 401 west 1st South with Bishop Gary Lusk officiating. The family will visit with friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Eckersell Funeral Home and on Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
