Marlene Georgia Barrow

June 25, 1935 — January 4, 2018

Marlene Georgia Mugleston Barrow quietly slipped away to rejoin her husband Wayne on January 4, 2018. Marlene was Born on June 25, 1935 to George James Mugleston and Dora Louise Mattson Mugleston. She was married to Wayne Raymond Barrow on November 10, 1954 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She had a heart of gold, great faith and was a hard worker. These were all traits which she tried to pass down to her children and grandchildren. There were many roadshows, plays, and projects that she could be found doing with her husband. She always said “I can do anything as long as Wayne is there.” She was always serving her family by sewing most of the family clothes, and making delicious dinners, some which found their way to a neighbor’s door on many occasions. She served many callings in the church and was very excited to serve a mission with her husband to Fort Worth, Texas. Following their mission, she also served as a temple worker in the Idaho Falls temple for 15 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne R. Barrow, daughter Kathy Harrison (Elwin) of Burley Idaho, Brother Ronald George Mugleston (Lois) of Highland, Utah, and one granddaughter McKinley Koyle of Rupert, Idaho. She is survived by her 4 children James R. Barrow (Betty) of Blackfoot ID, Elaine Randolph (Richard) of South Jordan, UT, Emma Lee Barrow of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jalene Magee (Robert) of West Valley City, UT. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.  She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.  Until we meet again. Thank you to the Wellington Assisted Living Center and Utah home health and hospice for all their love and care. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 13, 2018 at the Garfield Ward L.D.S. Chapel (71 N. 3700 E.). The family will visit with friends at Eckersell Memorial Chapel Friday Jan. 12 from 6:30 - 8:00p.m. and Saturday Jan. 13 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the Garfield Ward Chapel.
