Marsha Sessions

Marsha Grover Sessions, 69, of Rigby, Idaho passed away, Wednesday, April 15, 2020.

She was born May 31, 1950 in Rigby, Idaho, the daughter of Melvin Grant Grover and Alice Mae King Grover. She had 14 siblings. Marsha attended schools in Rigby, Idaho and graduated from Rigby High School with the Class of 1968. She continued her education at Ricks College, in Rexburg, Idaho.  Marsha was married to Bruce Pincock and later William Ward.   She met her eternal companion, Dave Reese Sessions and was married on June 14, 1980 in Rigby Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple; together they raised their 6 children.

Marsha worked at Reed Drug in Rigby; was a skilled seamstress and utilized that talent at Artco in Rexburg, sewing wedding merchandise; she also drove school bus for 10 years in Rigby before retiring.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a Young Women’s advisor, Primary Teacher, Ward Librarian and in many other callings. Marsha had many talents; she enjoyed sewing, cross stitching and crocheting.  Above all, she loved her family.

Marsha is survived by her husband, Dave Reese Sessions, her children; Tami Sanders, Beckie Galvan, Jeremy (Jenni) Sessions, Katie (Ben) Gonzalez, Jason Sessions and Alice Sessions,   siblings; Dian Grover, Stephen (Diana) Grover, Elaine Packer, Carol (Rick) Frogner, Jackie (Doug) Cotner, Julie (Steve) Campbell, Linda Grover and Kaylyn (Steve) Munk; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son; Jonas Sessions, her sisters; Delores Bennett and Joy Ellen Ray, her brother; Bruce Grover, her brother-in-law; Joe Packer and her son-in-law; Jon Sanders.

Family funeral services will be held Monday, April 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
