Martha Ellen Layman

Martha Ellen Layman, 87, of Terreton, Idaho passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at her home.  Martha was born in Rigby, Idaho on March 10, 1938, the daughter of Merrit Staley and Ellen Perkins Staley.

Martha attended schools in Terreton, Idaho. She married John Layman and she is survived by their daughter, Nevada Mattson. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Ellena Puckett, and Rita Spackman. Great grandchildren, Kira, Jamion, Jesiah and Samuel.

Martha enjoyed gardening, embroidery, camping and fishing. She loved animals.

Martha is preceded by her parents, husband, brother’s, Lorenzo, Robert, James, Alvin and Johnny.
