Mary Lou Lords 74, of Idaho Falls, died Monday, March 27, 2006 at her home in Idaho Falls.
Mary Lou was born December 21, 1931 in Rexburg, Idaho, the daughter of Orrin B. Jeppson and Addaline Belnap Jeppson.
She grew up in Archer, Malad, and Preston, Idaho attending Rigby Schools, and graduated from Rigby High School. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served as a primary teacher and pianist, counselor in the relief society presidency, and was a visiting teacher. She married James DeLar Lords on November 10, 1950 in the Idaho Falls L.D.S. Temple. She drove school bus for the Rigby School district and for District 91 in Idaho Falls. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and was an artist.
Survivors include: her husband DeLar Lords of Idaho Falls, two daughters Vernita May (Terry) Granger of Peoria, Arizona and Sharla Marie (Dave) Terrill of Wasilla, Alaska a son Bryan James Lords of Idaho Falls, two brothers Charles Jeppson (Patricia) of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Orvid Jeppson (Bettie) of Tucson, Arizona, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 31, 2006 at the Lincoln 3rd Ward Chapel with Bishop Brian Seedall officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel and on Friday for one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will follow the service at the Sutton Cemetery in Archer, Idaho.
