Mary Miller returned peacefully to her Heavenly Father on the morning of March 20, 2026, at her home in Rexburg, Idaho, after a valiant battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving parents and siblings in a room she decorated herself to remind her of the beauties of life. She was 17 years old and a Junior at Madison High school in Rexburg, Idaho.

Mary was born on February 21, 2009, to Adrina Miskin Miller and Scott Douglas Miller in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is survived by her parents and her siblings Hannah Miller, Jordan Scott Miller and Emmaline Miller of Rexburg, Her grandparents Larry Douglas Miller of Idaho Falls and Kaylen Rand Miskin and Gerrianne Miskin of Rigby, Idaho and a whole host of loving cousins, aunts and uncles.

Those waiting on the other side to welcome her home, include an older sister Arkadia Miller, her grandmother Vonda Christensen Miller and an uncle Charles Albert Miller.

She enjoyed summer employment at the Idaho Centennial Carousel in Rexburg. Mary enjoyed life and was always positive and smiling, bringing light into the lives of those around her. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She attended Cedar Badge leadership training and was a senior patrol leader. She was a member of the Musettes choir and went on tour with them to Salt Lake City and Los Angeles and participated in Madison High performing Arts, performing in The Lion King, Annie Get Your Gun, Anastasia, Arsenic and Old Lace, Emma, and The Prince of Egypt. She loved Snoopy, Bluey and Harry Potter and enjoyed Legos, stuffed animals, arcades, acrylic painting, sketching and ceramics.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Mary’s team of doctors and staff at Primary Children’s Hospital, Huntsman Cancer Institute and the Ronald McDonald House and these amazing foundations: Nixon Strong, Make-a-Wish Idaho, Clayton Dabney, Pinky Swear. Also, gratitude to her home health and hospice nurses. Last, but not least, thanks for the love and support of the City of Rexburg and Madison School District 321 personnel and students.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 27, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the Harvest Hills Ward building (612 South Hidden Valley Rd. in Rexburg, Idaho). The family will receive friends from 9-10:30 a.m. prior to services that morning. Interment will be in the Grant-Central Cemetery (154 N 3300 E, Rigby Idaho). A luncheon will be at Grant Ward building located at 3431 E 100 N in Rigby Idaho.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Primary Children’s Hospital or the Ronald McDonald House Salt Lake City.
