Matthew Thomas Anderson

Matthew Thomas Anderson, 24 of Logan, Utah, formerly of Ririe, Idaho, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Matthew was born December 27, 1990 in Rexburg to Garry Anderson and Michelle Killian Anderson. He was raised and attended schools in Menan and Ririe, graduating from Ririe High School in 2009. On August 4, 2012 he married Tracy Welker in Ririe, Idaho. He was attending Utah State University in Logan, Utah at the time of his death. Matthew enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; he enjoyed reading, video games, rock-climbing, writing, and riding his RipStik. He is survived by his wife, Tracy Welker of Logan, Utah, parents, Garry and Cathy Anderson of Ririe, brothers, Jonathan (Jami) Anderson, of Idaho Falls, Joshua (Loretta) Anderson, of Idaho Falls, Mark M. Anderson of Rigby, grandparents, Norman & Ada May Anderson and Cleora Ward. He was preceded in death by his mother, Michelle Killian Anderson and grandparents, Mike and Marilyn Killian and Clayton Ward. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Ririe LDS Stake Center. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm Friday and from 9:30 to 10:45 am prior to services Saturday both at the church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
