Throughout his life, Maurice traveled extensively, calling various places home, including Ohio, Colorado, Wyoming, Oregon, and finally settling in Rigby, Idaho. With a diverse career path which started in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam war. From there, he went on to work as a salesperson, in logging, and notably in trucking, which became a significant part of his life.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Maurice was deeply devoted to his family and community. As a father, he left a lasting impact on this son Benjamin. His meticulous nature, shaped by his multi-generational upbringing, often made him humble and introspective, despite his significant contributions to those he cared about. Maurice's legacy is one of hard work, dedication, and love for his family and community.
