Stanley Max Cooper, 74 of Shelton died Saturday, July 12, 2014 at his home.
He was born June 11, 1940 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Stanley Alfred Cooper and Bertha Cecila Cleverley Cooper. He was raised in the Shelton Area and graduated from Bonneville High School.
On December 13, 1957 he married Betty Mae Henderson in Idaho Falls; they were blessed with 3 daughters, Deborah, Shelley and Jana Lynn. Max sold farm equipment for Tractor Sales, farmed in the Shelton, Iona and Ucon areas and ranched in the Bone area.
Max was a great daddy, and grandpa. He was the confidant of 7 grandchildren, Papa Max to 11 great- grandchildren. And he was the loving and smothering husband to his wife, Betty.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Cooper, of Shelton, daughters, Deborah Hill, of Shelton, Shelley (Kevin) Landon, of Ririe, Jana Lynn (Doug) Hilde, of Shelton, grandchildren, Stacy Reynolds, Patrick (Rienna) Tullos, Mitch (Cassie) Landon, Jake (Kacey) Landon, Alex (Brody) Talbot, Dustin (Melonie) Park, Matthew Park, great-grandchildren, Seth Reynolds, Nathan Reynolds, Caitie Tullos, Carlie Tullos, Kody Landon, Jenna Landon, Austin Landon, Dillon Landon, Ryan Talbot, Kayden Park and Gracie Park.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
