Mesa Sandy Nef

Mesa Sandy Nef, cherished infant daughter of Jerik and Alecia Nef, was born without a heartbeat on January 5, 2023 at 2:25 a.m. at Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls.

Mesa was born sleeping at 22 weeks,
Perfect and beautiful.
Still loved, still missed, still remembered,
Everyday.
Stillborn,
But still born.

Mesa is deeply loved and survived by her dad, mom, and siblings Tate, Sage, Bryn, and Tagg Nef, all of Monteview.

Although her time with us was limited, the love we have for her is not.  We can’t wait to hold her in our arms again.  She is our little piece of heaven, our sweet angel baby.

Surviving grandparents are John Nef (Rexburg), Gay and Zane Miller (Colorado), and Cody Telford (Monteview). Also, great-grandmothers Carol Sue Nef (Rexburg) and Ruth Hansen (Monteview). Along with many loving uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Mesa was preceded in death by her grandpa Robert Telford, great-grandfather Weldon Nef, great-grandparents Rulon and Wanda Trost, great-grandparents Keith and Diane Telford, and great-grandfather George Hansen. As well as an uncle, Marc Telford, and cousin, Dawson Gunter.

Graveside services were held for Mesa on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at West Jefferson Memorial Cemetery.
