Michael Everett Robbins

Michael Everett Robbins, 53 of Rigby, Idaho, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at his home.

Michael was born December 27, 1965 in Klamath Falls, Oregon; the son of Herman Everett Robbins and Doris Charolett Knight Robbins. He was raised and attended schools in Sugar City, Idaho. He continued his education at Ricks College in Rexburg and ISU in Pocatello. He married Carol Merritt in the Idaho Falls Temple. They later divorced. On February 14, 2014, he married Jennifer Michele Antonio Palmer in West Haven, Utah. Throughout his life, he lived in Sugar City, ID, Klamath Falls, OR, Rexburg, ID, Cache County, UT, Garland, UT, Taylor, UT and Rigby, ID.

He owned and operated Running R Transportation; a long-haul trucking company; and was a member of the Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a full-time mission to New York State. He enjoyed being outdoors; fishing and farming. He loved trucks, tractors and animals, especially horses.

He is survived by his wife; Jennifer Robbins of Rigby, ID; daughters, Natalie (Jamie) Forbusch of Mink Creek, ID, Angela (Shayden) Nelson of Clearfield, UT, Melissa (Aden) Gustafson, of Garland, UT; sons, Trevor (Callie) Robbins of Franklin, ID, Coltin Woods of Far West, UT, Daltin (Miranda) Woods of Ogden, UT, Austin Woods of Rigby, ID, Westin Woods of Rigby, ID; mother, Doris Robbins of Sugar City, ID; sisters, Donna Burnside and Deborah Robbins, both of Rexburg, ID; and 8 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, September 9, 2019 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho. Burial will be at a later date in the Sugar City Cemetery.
