Mike Webster

Mike Webster, age 55, of Idaho Falls, died Friday, July 17, 2009 at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, Utah. Mike was born October 17, 1953 in Bowling Green, Ohio a son of Dorsel Ray Webster Sr. and Marguerite Ellen Lawrence Webster. He attended schools in Idaho Falls participating in High School Rodeo continuing to work with the young people involved with High School Rodeo the rest of his life. He married Mary Eyleen Shackelford, February 16, 1972 in Idaho Falls. He worked as a truck driver for Bonneville County Road and Bridge. He attended many auctions and collected antiques. He loved his family considering his friends as part of the family, outdoors, camping, and animals especially horses. Survivors include: six children: Mandi Webster (Jeremy) Foster of Rigby, Krista Merrill of Hagerman, Idaho, Kenny (LuAnne) Coates of Hagerman, Idaho, Kraig (Sherrie) Coates of Memphis, Tennessee, Kurt (Becky) Coates of Shelley and Kori Coates of Boise, Idaho, six brothers and sisters: Larry Edward (Judy) Webster of Idaho Falls, James William (Linda) Webster of Idaho Falls, Zella Webster Green of Wapato, Washington, Dorsel Ray Webster Jr. of Idaho Falls, Stephen Douglas (Joyce) Webster of Butte, Montana, Cathy Lynn Webster of Idaho Falls, 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a sister JoAn Louise Fitch. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be held Thursday July 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
