Mildred Hannah Corey, age 90, of Archer, Idaho, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007 in Rexburg, Idaho. Mildred was born December 21, 1916, the daughter of James Briggs, and Hannah Elizabeth Nelson Briggs.
Mildred grew up and attended schools in Archer and Rexburg, Idaho. She married Darwin Corey, March 21, 1940 in the Logan L.D.S. Temple. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked at local area potato warehouses most of her married life, and had worked for Union Pacific Railroad for a short time. She served with her husband as sexton of the Sutton Cemetery for several years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three sisters, and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 12:00 noon at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery, under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
