Mildred Louise Miles

Mildred Louise Miles, 83, of Rigby, died, Monday, Decmeber 25, 2006, in Boise, Idaho. She was born November 1, 1923 in Rigby, Idaho a daughter of Carl Oscar Olson and Janie Louise Campbell Olson. She was raised and attended school in Rigby graduating from Rigby High School. She worked for Berlin’s Grocery Store and then for the telephone company for 10 years. She married Clarence Roger Miles on November 26, 1954 in Rigby, Idaho. They belonged to the telephone Pioneers and participated in the V.F.W. After Roger retired they spent most of their time at their summer home in Island Park. She enjoyed cross stitching. Survivors include one daughter Louise (Kevin) McClung of Seattle, Washington, one son Jeffry (Kim) Miles of Boise, Idaho and one brother John C. Olson of Rexburg, and 6 grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, two sisters, Mamie and Susie, and two brothers Richard J. and Joseph. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, evening from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. and prior to the service on Thursday from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. both at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
