Miles David Kelly

Miles David Kelly, 4 year old son of Mark and Andrae Kelly, passed away on October 15, 2012 at 4:54 PM, due to complications from a near drowning accident during a family reunion in Park City on Saturday, October 13. Born on September 13, 2008 in Salt Lake City, UT, Miles was a sweet, loving and thoughtful little boy. He loved his little sister, Vivian, and she loved him. They were best friends. Miles enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, riding his bike, jumping on the trampoline, eating popcorn, pirates, splashing in puddles, and just spending time with his immediate and extended family. He shared a very special bond with both his mother and father. He will be dearly missed. Mark and Andrae would like to thank everyone for their love, prayers and support. The family’s thanks goes out to the staff at the Montage Deer Valley Resort and the Park City Police and Fire Department for their help and compassion, as well as the doctors and nurses who treated and cared for Miles at Primary Children’s Hospital. They would like everyone to know that while this has been an excruciating ordeal, they have found peace through their faith and the tender mercies of the Lord. The family respectfully requests their privacy at this time. Miles is survived by his father Mark Zakimi Kelly, mother Andrae and sister Vivian Ann. Grandparents B. Kevin and Cloeen Downs of Firth, Idaho and D. Phil and Audrey Kelly of Evanston, Wyoming, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from noon to 1:30 PM at the LDS Meadow Ward Building – 1955 W 400 N Salt Lake City, 84116. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM, at the same location. A viewing in Firth Idaho at the Basalt Stake Center 823 North 675 East, Basalt, Idaho Friday, October 19, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Graveside services to be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the West Jefferson Cemetery in Mud Lake, Idaho at 11:00 AM.
