Misty Elaine Hansen

Misty Elaine Hansen, 46, of Idaho Falls, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center

surrounded by her family.

Misty was born August 15, 1978 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to William Kirk Hansen and Artencia “Tennie” Hansen.

Misty was raised in Idaho Falls and graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1998. At the time of her death, she attended Upper

Valley Options, a facility for developmentally disabled individuals. She enjoyed reading, coloring, and animals. She spent a lot of

her free time riding horses and spending time with family. Misty was a social butterfly and loved to make people laugh. Misty

attended Watersprings Church.

Misty is survived by her parents, William Kirk and Artencia “Tennie” Hansen of Idaho Falls, ID. Siblings, Christina Taylor of Idaho

Falls, ID, Gregory (Tausha) Hansen of Rigby, ID and Felicia Leavitt of Fate, Texas. Grandparents, Ann Beddes of Idaho Falls, ID, and

Lennie Hansen of Rigby, ID. Nieces and nephews; Taila Taylor, Hayden Hansen, Ava Hansen, Jaxson Boyd and Sierra Bruehl.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Lynn Hansen, Kenny Beddes, Monte Christofferson, Shirley Settles, and Bonnie

Christofferson.

A funeral service will be held for Misty on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Eckersell Memorial Chapel (101 West Main

Street, Rigby, ID). The family will meet with friends prior to the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Interment will be in the Grant

Central Cemetery.
