Misty Jane Lessenden

Misty Jane Lessenden, age 37 of Salt Lake City, Utah passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah.

Misty was born August 23, 1983 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Debbie Jane Draper and Jeff Lessenden.  She was raised in Rexburg, Idaho, attended schools in Madison County and graduated from Madison High School.  In 2003 she moved to the South Salt Lake City area in Utah.

Misty enjoyed rollerblading, swimming, listening to music and hanging out with her friends.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Debbie and Lewis Barney of Rexburg, Idaho; brothers, Vernon (JR) Miller Jr. of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Joey Ray Draper of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Jason (Danielle) Barney of Ucon, Idaho, Jacob Barney of Rexburg, Idaho, and her daughter, Cheyenne.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Elsie Draper and her brother, Justin Barney.

A graveside service will be held be held in her honor, Wednesday, July 14, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at the Sugar City Cemetery.  Her family will receive friends Wednesday, July 14, 2021, from 9 – 10:15 a.m., at Eckersell Funeral Home, 101 West Main Street, Rigby.  Condolences may be sent to her family online at www.eckersellfuneralhome.com
