Mitchel Dean Ball

Mitchel Dean Ball, age 83 of Redding California, previously of Ucon passed away June 9, 2008. He was born March 25, 1925 in Ucon to Mitchel Ball and Lydia Wilkins Ball. He worked for the Railroad for many years and served in the US Navy for two years. After his marriage to Ann Hanni they moved to Dumuir California. She died December 8, 1993. He married Alberta Barlow October 7, 1995. They made their home in Redding California. Both marriages were solemnized in the LDS Temple. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was also a member of Eagles and Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife Alberta of Redding, California, an aunt, Lula Call of Idaho Falls, a sister-in-law, Betty Ball Hansen of Shelley, four nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eldon Bud Ball, and a sister, Lola Young. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2008 at the Ucon Cemetery, with Bishop Blaine Ball, Conducting. Military Rites will be by Jefferson County Veterans Team. Services provided by Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
