Morey Paul Pelton

Morey Paul Pelton, 36, passed away on May 13, 2022 in Ririe Idaho.

Morey was born August 19, 1985 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Martin Pelton and Jennifer Kramer. He was raised in Ririe and graduated from Ririe High School.

Morey’s love for the outdoors started at a young age, when his dad started taking him up mountains. He adored his dad; they had a special bond that was unbreakable. They loved each other unconditionally.

Morey also had a love for construction and worked for Earth in Motion (Chad Burnell) for 10 years. Although Chad was his boss, they were more like brothers.

Morey loved hunting, fishing, floating the river, cutting firewood and chariot racing. Morey was a born leader. He loved fishing and guiding his friends down the Snake River. Morey had a competitive side and would want to be the first on the mountain opening day.

Morey has two beautiful boys: Ridge Pelton with Jennifer Spaulding and Dreyzin Pelton with Brecka Hansen, who he loved very much. Morey loved to take his boys to shoot guns and to fish. His spirit will live on in both of his sons.

We were all blessed with his fun-loving, energetic, life of the party, and infectious positivity. To know Morey was to love Morey, he was a brother to all. We cannot wait for the day we meet again. Until then, we will look for him in the mountains.

He is survived by his loving father, Martin Pelton of Ririe ID, sons Ridge Pelton of Rigby ID and Dreyzin Pelton of Ft. Pierce, FL.

Morey is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray Paul Pelton and Mary Martin, step-grandfather Roy Martin, step sister Lori Stevens (Rodriguez), and cousin Charles E. Wyrick.

Family will visit with friends on Thursday May 26, 2022 from 6pm-8pm at Eckersell Funeral Home located at 101 W Main St Rigby ID 83442. You are invited to come dressed casually and if you have camouflage, please wear that.
