Myrna Kathleen Price; 65, of Rigby, Idaho died Saturday, November 9, 2002 in Idaho Falls at
the Idaho Falls Care Center.
Myrna was born March 1, 1937 at St. Anthony, Idaho the daughter of William Keith
Clark and Sarah Ellen Long Clark. She graduated from Bonneville High School in Idaho Falls,
Idaho and attended Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania for two years. She
had worked as a Nurses Aide in Pennsylvania.
She married George William Price in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on December 27,
1957. As a member of the LDS Church, she has served in the Relief Society as the Ward Relief
Society President, as a counselor and as a teacher. She served in the Young Women’s
Organization as the President, as Primary President and as Stake Missionary. With her husband
she served a full time couples mission to the Portugal Lisbon North Mission. She also served in
the Stake Public Relations and as a Choir Leader in her Ward.
She is survived by her husband Bill Price of Rigby, Idaho. Three daughters; Janet Price
of Mesa, Arizona, Melony (Jed) Wilson of Ririe, Idaho, Kathleen Price of Rigby, Idaho. Three
sons; Vance (Wendie) Price of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, Paul (Shelly) Price of Kimberly, Idaho
and Rodney (Erika) Price of Cedar Hills, Utah. Six sisters; Marcell Wanner of Inkom, Idaho,
Betty (Delos) Hale of Chubbuck, Idaho, Louise (Mark) Swendiman of Newdale, Idaho, Elaine
(Claude) Cobia of McCammon, Idaho, Bonnie (Clint) Groll of Richmond, Utah and Dorthy
Clayton of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Two brothers; Glen (Joyce) Clark of Grace, Idaho and John
(Barbara) Clark of West Point, Utah. Fourteen grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Don Clark.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2002 in the Rigby, Idaho Stake
Center at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Brad Anderson officiating. The family will meet with friends
on Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at the Rigby Stake Center from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Burial will be in Teton-Newdale Cemetery in Teton, Idaho.
