Nathan Cory Williams, 35 of Rigby, died Monday, February 7, 2011, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. He was born October 16, 1975, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Richard Craig Williams and Susan Lowe Williams. He was raised and attended schools in Nevada, graduating from Edward C. Reed High School, in Sparks, Nevada. He continued his education at ISU studying Business Administration. Nathan has a strong belief in God and Country; he enlisted in the US Marine Corps and served in Japan, Korea, and Desert Storm. While serving in the Marine Corps he received his certification in hazardous waste management, and worked as a General Manager in the emergency restoration field. On July 26, 2003 he married Emily Suzanne Romney in Sparks Nevada; their marriage was solemnized June 26, 2004 in the Reno Nevada Temple. Together they had 3 children. Nathan is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He attained the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts of America and continued as a Scout Leader throughout his life. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, camping, rodeos, classic cars and carpentry. He was tender-hearted and always willing to help others. Nathan especially loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children. He is survived by his wife, Emily Williams, children, William Isaac Romney Williams, Morgan Elizabeth Williams, and Jonathan Cory Williams, all of Rigby, parents, Richard and Susan Williams of Sparks, Nevada, brothers, Richard Jason (Stacy) Williams, of Tooele, Utah, Matt Isaac (Lindsey) Williams, of Rigby, and a grandfather, Richard Dame, of Washington, Utah. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Carlene Williams Dame, William Richard Williams, Maude Mills Lowe and Glen Dewey Lowe. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2011, at the LaBelle 1st Ward LDS Chapel, with Bishop Brad Schaat, conducting. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Elysian Burial Garden Cemetery 1075 E. 4580 S. Salt Lake City, Utah, under the care of Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby. A Memorial service will be held in Sparks, Nevada at the Rock Blvd LDS Chapel on Tuesday, February 22nd at 6:30pm. A memorial fund has been created for Nathan’s children for those who wish to contribute at any Wells Fargo Bank under the name Nathan Cory Williams Memorial Fund.
