Neal Allen Thompson

Neal Allen Thompson, 56, of Terreton, died October 11, 2007, at the Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg. Neal was born August 14, 1951, in Rigby, Idaho a son of Aaron Milton and Florence Deoine Bates Thompson. Neal was raised and attended schools in Dubios and graduated from Clark County High School. He attended Idaho State University after high school. Neal married Marlene Palmer on July 27, 1973 in Dubois, Idaho. They later divorced. He married Barbara Jo Stensland on June 27, 1986 in Tahoe, Nevada. They later divorced. He worked for Westinghouse at the site as a surplus manager. He enjoyed music, fishing and hot air ballooning. Survivors include his two daughters Lori (Todd) Smith of Idaho Falls, Kim (Ron) Sampson of Idaho Falls, parents Milton and Deoine Thompson of Terreton, sister Kay (Bill) Slavin of Carmon, Idaho, brother Alvin Don (Margaret) Thompson of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, three grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
