Nichole "Nikki" Lynn Pierce

Nichole “Nikki” Lynn Price Pierce, 31 of Salmon, formerly of Roberts, died Friday, November 18, 2011 at the Salmon Hospital. She was born November 3, 1980, in Rexburg, Idaho to Tom Staggs and Janet Elizabeth Price. She was raised in Roberts and attended Roberts Elementary and Rigby High School. She received her GED in 2003; and continued her education at EITC graduating as a Gas and Diesel Mechanic. She did many side jobs as a mechanic around the area. She married Gary Ekstrom in Idaho Falls, Idaho; they later divorced. On November 12, 2011, she married Tommy Pierce in Salmon, Idaho. Nichole enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with her boys, husband, and family. She especially enjoyed being with her mother Janet. She shared a special bond with her niece Jaden and loved dolphins. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Pierce, of Salmon, her sons, Anthony Paul Ekstrom, of Salmon, Carden Wayne Hansen, of Montpelier, Idaho, Daniel Lynn Church, of Montpelier, Idaho, mother, Janet Price, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, sisters, Melissa (Jared) Lees, of Rigby, Idaho, Stephanie Hjelm, of Mud Lake, Idaho, brothers, Travis Gneiting, of Soda Springs, Idaho, Steven (Teri) Gneiting, of Preston, Idaho as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, and a nephew, McCoy Lees. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2011, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., Friday evening and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Annis little Butte Cemetery, under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to any Westmark Federal Credit Union in Nichole’s name.
