Nina Louise Anderson, age 84, of Rigby died in her home, Tuesday, May 1, 2007. She was born February 25, 1923 in Tacoma, Washington, a daughter of Edwin Anderson and Etta May Kramer Anderson. She was raised and attended Schools in the Tacoma, Washington area, graduating from Clover Park High School in Tacoma. She worked in the shipyard in Washington during WW II as a welder. January 30, 1943, she married Warren Elwood Anderson; they were married for 37 years. She lived in the Rigby Area for 52 years. Nina was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, enjoyed quilting, puzzles and was an avid reader, she was an active 4-H leader and Judge, foster grandparent for 20 years, loved working with youth, and enjoyed her grandchildren, she also served on the Rigby Senior Citizen Board for 10 years.
She is survived by her children, Thelma Anderson of Rigby, Peggy (Greg) Clanton of San Marcos, California, Teresa Krusell of Layton, Utah, Gary L. Anderson of Rigby, Idaho, one grandchild Alissa (Jonathan)McMinn and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and four sisters.
Memorial services will be held Monday, May 7, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church, 3866 E. 400 N. Rigby, with Pastor Jason Ehmann officiating. The family will visit with friends one hour before services at the Church. In her honor, contributions may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church, 3866 E. 400 N. Rigby.
