Nola Sellers Hall

Nola Sellers Hall, 82 of Rexburg, Idaho passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 in Rexburg. Nola was born in Menan, Idaho on February 20, 1935, the daughter of Heber Allen and Lula Wanda Frandsen Sellers. Nola attended Menan Elementary School in Menan, Idaho and graduated from Rigby High School in Rigby, Idaho. She continued her education in Rexburg, Idaho at Ricks College. She later worked at Ricks College in the Book Store and the Postal Service on campus. She often would help local farmers with potato harvest. Nola married Hyrum Brent Hall in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on November 10, 1954. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints she had opportunity to teach and serve in many of the auxiliaries. She served in the Primary Presidency, Young Women’s, as a faithful Visiting Teacher in the Relief Society and as a Librarian. Nola enjoyed sewing, keeping a garden, playing games and doing puzzles, and traveling. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Nola is survived by her husband, H. Brent Hall of Rexburg, Idaho. Her children: Sherri Lewis of Rexburg, ID, Nicole (Wayne) Parkinson of Rexburg, ID and son, Craig Brent Hall of Rexburg, ID. Her sisters: Donna Hansen of Ammon, ID, Karma (Craig) Burtenshaw of Ucon, ID, Peggy (Brad) Petersen of Terreton, ID and Diane (John) Reed of Ririe, ID. Her brothers, Ronald Allen Sellers of San Bernadino, CA, Richard (Clarinda) Sellers of Henderson, NV, Chad (Marchelle) Sellers of Pocatello, ID, and Carl (Debby) Sellers of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Grandchildren: Klint (Nicole) Lewis of Riverton, UT, Drake (Elsha) Lewis of St. Anthony, ID, Chase (Amanda) Lewis of Rexburg, ID, Kelle (Tyler) Townsend of Saratoga Springs, UT, Amber (Travis) Dexter of Mt. Home, ID, Trever (Kayla) Jones of Rexburg, ID and Britney Jones of Rexburg, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Colleen Whiting, sister-in-law, Ila Sellers and brother-in-law, Jerald Hansen. A funeral service for Nola will be held Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Burton LDS 1st Ward Chapel at the West building, (3958 W. 2000 S., Rexburg, ID). The family will meet with friends Thursday evening, February 1, 2018 from 6 to 7:30 PM at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, (101 W. Main Street, Rigby, ID) and on Friday, prior to services from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at the church. Interment will follow in the Burton Cemetery.
