Nora N. Scott Browning 98, of Rigby died Monday, February 06, 2012, at Life Care Center in Idaho Falls. She was born January 19, 1914, in Fairview, Wyoming to Aaron Smith Nebeker and Elizabeth Bestall Margetts Nebeker. She attended Fairview Wyoming Grade School, and Afton Wyoming High School. On December 27, 1933, she married Lloyd Ephraim Scott in Pocatello, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple on May 24, 1934. He preceded her in death. On October 12, 1985, she married Lyle F. Browning in Idaho Falls. He also preceded her in death. Nora worked as a nurse for the LDS Hospital in Idaho Falls and for Dr. Rigby in Rigby as well as Carson Nursing Home in Rigby and The Salt Lake Stake Home. She was a member of the LDS Church; she enjoyed gardening, flowers, canning crocheting, genealogy, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children; Darla Mae (Bill) Wesselman, of Yuma, AZ, Blanche “N” (Jim) Scuderi, of Rexburg, ID, Lester Lynn (Sharri) Scott, of Annis, ID, a sister Blanche Roos, of Sandpoint, ID, 19 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, a son, Dee Lloyd Scott, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., prior to services, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Life Care Center in Idaho Falls for the loving care they gave Nora.
