Norma Albertson

Norma Albertson, age 65, of Rigby, died at her home Friday August 31, 2012. Norma was born March 23, 1947 at Basalt, Idaho a daughter to Deloy Francis Daw and Ivy Mogene Scarborough Daw. She attended schools in Roberts and Idaho Falls. She married Ronald Albertson January 15, 1965 in Osgood, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She worked with her husband on the farm for 30 plus years in the Roberts and Osgood areas and then as a bookkeeper for Broulims for 14 years. As a member of the LDS Church she loved serving as primary chorister. She enjoyed flowers, the outdoors, fishing with her husband, grandkids, chocolate, Coke, butterfly’s and her dog Addie. She is survived by her children: Penny (Rocky) Frasure of Blackfoot, Kristie (Rod) Laird of Rigby, Wade (Lori) Albertson of Grant, Mother-in-law Ora Albertson of Osgood, sisters: Naomi (Larry) Carter of Burley, Connie (Jerry) Gibbons of Idaho Falls, Denett (Danny) Jensen of Rigby, Brothers: Edwin (Karen) Daw of Chubbock, Kim (Lynette) Daw of Blackfoot, 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Ivy and Deloy, her husband Ronald Albertson, twin daughters Jill and Jody, and a brother Steve Daw. Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rigby 2nd Ward LDS Chapel, 364 North 4100 East, Rigby, the family will visit with friends at the church on Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Grant Central Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
